Through Water and Fire
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you. (Isaiah 43: 2, NKJV)
Integrity Supplies UK Limited, the company founded and directed by Rev Ross Rennie, Director of Grace Missions, is passing through water and fire at present.
Rev Ross set up Integrity Supplies with a vision of using the profits generated by the company to support missions. In the past God has blessed the company and it has been able to fulfil that vision, but now, in common with many other businesses in the UK, Integrity Supplies, is going through hard times. Rev Ross has not only had to contend with the general financial downturn but has also had to deal with an unresolved dispute with another company (see Justice Awaited below).
This is a crucial time for Integrity Supplies because cash is very tight. The enemy would love to destroy the company because of its potential to advance God's kingdom.
Rev Ross says, "Please stand with us in prayer. By faith we see the Lord's blessing on the horizon; we just need to hold on to His promises, to stand and see His salavtion as Moses did at the Red Sea and Jehoshaphat when he was under attack."

One Building Sold; Pray On For The Sale Of Another
If you responded to our request for prayer for the sale of Grace International Centre, thank you. God has heard and answered your prayers. The building has been sold and Grace International Church has moved to a new home.
Please continue to pray for the sale of Rev Ross Rennie's house. God is calling Ross and Debbie to move on so they need to sell their existing house.
Rev Ross says, "With the housing market in a depressed state and prices falling, we need a miracle to sell our house at a reasonable price. But we do not depend on estate agents or advertising to achieve a sale; we put our trust in the God of miracles, who loves to give good gifts to His children. We invite all our friends to join us in prayer and share in the miracle."
Justice Done and Justice Still Awaited
As well as being the director of Grace Missions and Cambodian Communities out of Crisis and a pastor of Grace International Church, Grace Missions director Rev Ross Rennie is also a businessman. He has owned and managed a successful firm of manufactuers' agents, Integrity Supplies UK Limited, for several years.
Answered Prayer and a Victory for the Lord
God has already answered our prayers for justice to be done in a court action brought against Ross for non-payment of a debt he did not owe, which was incurred by a former associate compnay of Integrity Supplies. The case ended with no imputation of guilt against Ross, and this was a notable victory for the Lord. However, Ross is now faced with a bill for £2,662.32 for the legal fees incurred in preparing his defence. Please ask the Lord to provide this money.
Justice Awaited
Integrity Supplies were formerly agents for Sparkpak UK Limited, a distributor of electrical accessories. In 2008 Sparkpak abruptly terminated Integrity Supplies' agency, on the basis of allegations that Ross failed to carry out his duties to Sparkpak's customers. Ross refuted these allegations and instituted legal proceedings against Sparkpak for breach of the agency agreement between the two companies and failure to pay outstanding commissions. Solicitors have been corresponding for two years and the case has not gone to court.
Please pray that:
- justice will be done and the honour of the Lord's name upheld;
- Sparkpak will agree to an out-of-court settlement so that Ross will not have to bear the cost of barrister's fees for a court hearing;
- the matter will be settled soon;
- Ross will receive fair compensation.
Mission to Myanmar

Grace Missions director Rev Ross Rennie visited Myanmar in June 2009 to speak at a pastors' conference organised by Advance Inland Mission Today and held in Yangon, the capital of Myanmar. Ross was accompanied by his friend Greg Dixon, director of International Friends of Compassion (Europe).
God's hand was on the preparations for the trip. For example Ross and Greg obtained their visas to enter Myanmar without any challenge from the authorities, in spite of being completely up front about the purpose of their visit. They continued under God's protection while undergoing surveillance and police checks after their arrival in Myanmar.
Although Ross had experienced high temperatures and humidity before on trips to Cambodia, it was nevertheless a shock to his system to have to teach at the conference (with no air conditioning) for hours at a stretch with only short breaks. He consumed up to 15 bottles of water a day! The personal cost to Ross of the trip was not confined to heat exhaustion. Towards the end of the trip he contracted food poisoning and had to make frequent visits to the bathroom!
The pastors were attentive to the message of grace that Ross taught and he was excited to hear from them how they were already living out some of the principles he was explaining. Ross and Greg were touched by the sacrificial dedication of the church-planters they met who make long and arduous journeys off the beaten track to make disciples in the remoter regions of Myanmar.
Ross felt privileged to follow in the footsteps of Adoniram Judson, one of the first missionaries to Burma, and was delighted to meet up with a descendant of George Müller in Yangon. An even greater joy was to spend time in fellowship with his hosts Philip and Dante and to see first-hand how God is working powerfully through the Myanmar national church.
God provided for all the expenses of the trip before Ross and Greg left for Myanmar. However, before returning home they felt led to leave a gift of US$1,000 (about £700) with Advance Inland Mission Today to pay for their next mission trip into the interior of Myanmar. If you would like to help meet the cost of this gift, please contact us.
